UDOWD is a collaborative partnership between federal, state, county, and local faith-based and nonprofit organizations that assist the defendant/ offender population in obtaining and maintaining employment. The UDOWD Taskforce was officially formed in late 2009, with a U.S. Magistrate Judge holding the title of first chair. At the time of donation, 300 coins had been produced by Point Emblems.

Shown is the Mackinac Bridge, a suspension bridge spanning the Straits of Mackinac to connect the non-contiguous Upper and Lower Peninsulas of the state. Obverse of 1 3/4" coin commemorating a softball tournament that the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York have played for more than two decades. Sponsored by the Federal Criminal Investigators Association, the tournament involves 12 teams from the NYC federal law enforcement community and raises money for the families of agents/officers killed or injured in the line of duty, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and the National Brain Tumor Society. The tournament was named after AUSA Charlie Rose (EDNY) who played in the tournament for many years and passed away in 2010 from a brain tumor.
