U.S. Attorney
The U.S. Attorney’s Offices are close working partners with the U.S. Probation and Pretrial Services system. In the Executive Branch, they decide who should be prosecuted in the U.S. District Courts. The U.S. Attorney’s Office also represents the United States in pretrial and post conviction supervised release violation hearings.

NEW in the Museum 2026. Ass’t. U.S. Attorney from Eastern District of New York. Not hallmarked. Top panel not engraved so it may never have been issued. Measures 2 1/2" x 1 1/2". Many copies of this style have been made, but this is an original. Discovered in a collection of military badges and medals.
NEW Notice the wirework in the translucent enamel. Research being done on the name of this technique. The earliest badges all have this feature.
