U.S. Attorney
The U.S. Attorney’s Offices are close working partners with the U.S. Probation and Pretrial Services system. In the Executive Branch of the government, they decide who should be prosecuted in the U.S. District Courts. In the post-conviction world, the office also represents the United States in supervised release violation hearings.

NEW in the Museum 2026. Ass’t. U.S. Attorney from Eastern District of New York. Not hallmarked. Measures 2 1/2" x 1 1/2". Many copies of this style have been made, but this is an original. Discovered in a collection of military badges and medals.
NEW Notice the wirework in the translucent enamel. Research being done on the name of this technique. The earliest badges all have this feature.
